Responsibilities
- Design and maintain standard cells for new DRAM products on new technology.
- Collaborate closely with the DTCO team to develop standard cell architecture for emerging technologies.
- Characterize and model standard cells to provide timing and power models.
- Analyze characterized liberty models for performance, power, and functionality.
- Develop automation test benches, flows, and tools to improve work efficiency and data analysis.
- Co‑work with international colleagues on developing new flows and tools for standard cell design.
- Identify design and characterization pain points suitable for AI‑based automation and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy scalable solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good understanding of CMOS circuit design and device physics.
- Experience in the complete standard cell flow from DTCO development/specification to library release.
- Familiar with RTL/GDS flow setup, block‑level timing analysis, and ICC2.
- Preferred experience with Synopsys EDA flow, FineFet, and planners.
- Proficiency in characterization tools such as SiliconSmart/Liberate and Cadence Virtuoso.
- Experience with Primetime, Solido Analytics, analog/digital simulation tools (HSPICE, HSIM, Verilog‑HDL, FINESIM, SimVision).
- Strong programming skills in Skill, TCL, Perl, and Python for test bench automation and data analysis.
- Previous work in DRAM memory related fields or analog blocks is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a team‑orientated mindset.
- Experience using AI‑assisted tools to improve standard cell design and characterization productivity, with a focus on correctness and responsible use of enterprise‑approved AI systems.
Education
Bachelor's or Post‑Graduate Degree in Electronics Engineering or related engineering field with 7+ years of relevant experience required.
