Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced layout engineer to own analog and power layouts for PMIC blocks, DC-DC converters and references. You will drive from floor planning to tape-out while addressing matching, parasitics, noise isolation and reliability requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in Analog/Mixed-Signal Layout with HV BCD/Power tech, and proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre for layout verification and extraction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Analog/Mixed-Signal Layout experience in High Voltage BCD/Power Management technologies.
• Experience from floor planning to tape-out for DC-DC converters, PMICs and power blocks.
• Strong understanding of matching, parasitics, shielding, EM/IR and current-density.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor planning, device placement, routing and layout optimization.

Join us to design and deliver cutting-edge analog and power layouts for next-generation PMICs, DC-DC converters, LDOs, bandgaps, and high-voltage power management solutions. You'll drive the complete layout journey from floor planning and device placement to sign-off and tape-out, while solving complex challenges in matching, parasitics, noise isolation, EM/IR, reliability, ESD, and latch-up prevention. Collaborate with world-class design and verification teams to create high-performance, silicon-proven products powering automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.

Your role

Own and deliver analog/power layouts for DC-DC converters, LDOs, bandgaps, references, and supporting PMIC blocks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform floor planning, device placement, routing, and layout optimization considering matching, parasitics, noise, EM/IR, and reliability requirements.
• Implement high-voltage layout techniques including isolation structures, guard rings, ESD, and latch-up prevention.
• Drive DRC, LVS, ERC, extraction, and layout sign-off activities to ensure successful tape‑out.
• Collaborate closely with design, verification, and CAD teams to resolve layout-related issues and meet project schedules.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed: Diploma/Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related field. 5+ years of Analog/Mixed-Signal Layout experience, including High Voltage BCD/Power Management technologies. Proven experience in DC-DC Converter, PMIC, LDO, and power block layouts from floor planning to tape‑out. Strong understanding of analog layout fundamentals including matching, parasitic optimization, shielding, EM/IR, and current-density considerations. Proficiency with industry-standard layout and verification tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre.
