Job summary

Netskope in India is seeking a senior Windows security software engineer to design and implement data-loss prevention features for the Windows agent, leveraging C++ and advanced data structures.

You will collaborate with distributed teams across geographies, provide technical guidance to peers, and lead initiatives through all phases from discovery to delivery.

The role requires 10+ years of Windows security experience and a strong foundation in algorithms, ETW, and kernel/user-land development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing security software on Windows.
• Proficient in C/C++ with multi-threading.
• Experience with Event Tracing for Windows (ETW).
• Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Kernel and user-land development on Windows.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills.

About the role

Please note, this team is hiring across all levels and candidates are individually assessed and appropriately levelled based upon their skills and experience.

The Endpoint Data Security team designs, implements and enhances next-generation endpoint security products. Netskope Endpoint DLP extends the Netskope Cloud DLP solution to data in use on employees’ managed machines protecting it from loss and theft. It seamlessly extends all the advanced solution capabilities of Netskope Cloud DLP to corporate endpoints to consistently identify, monitor and protect sensitive data leaving such endpoints.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in developing security software on Windows.
• Experience with Event Tracing for Windows (ETW).
• Strong programming skills in C++ / C including multi-threading.
• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Passionate about data security and protecting sensitive and confidential data.
• Experience in kernel and user land on Windows

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline
• Related network and security certifications are a plus
