Job summary

Accertify is seeking a Fraud Analyst in Gurugram to investigate high-risk e-commerce transactions and help clients prevent fraud while protecting customers. The role emphasizes data-backed decision making and collaboration with a team of fraud experts.

You will perform manual reviews, analyze risk, and stay compliant with regulatory standards. After training, the position offers hybrid work with 2 days in-office and requires flexibility for varied shifts, including non-business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience in e-commerce fraud prevention, investigation, or similar preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills strongly desired.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Displays confidence in making decisions independently.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Strong internet research skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems at once.
• Demonstrated experience and/or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including non-business hours, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• The Accertify office is located at: Tower 1, Floor 2, International Tech Park, Sector 59, Gurugram, Haryana 122002.
• This role offers hybrid work flexibility (2 days in-office) after completing the initial training period.
• This role requires a PTO blackout period from October to January, during which no time-off requests will be honored.

• Performs manual review of queued transactions to determine the likelihood of fraud
• Prioritizes work to meet and exceed deadlines
• Independently resolves problems that require in-depth investigation and/or research
• Constantly communicates fraud trends and shares best practices with peers and leaders
• Maintains professional persistence when reviewing transactions or speaking with clients
• Develops client-specific expertise to further support a model-first vision
• Utilizes fraud platform features to build upon initial familiarity with Client risk profiles
• Works well with a team of industry experts to monitor real-time fraud decisioning software
• Thoroughly researches transaction risk utilizing both new and existing tools
• Reports platform issues as they arise and proactively identifies potential impacts to Clients
• Maintains adherence to regulatory, operational, and compliance standards

As a Fraud Analyst, you will play a critical role in advancing Accertify's mission of delivering exceptional digital experiences. In this role, you will investigate and evaluate high-risk e-commerce transactions, leveraging analytical and decision-making skills to help clients prevent fraud, reduce financial risk, and protect their customers across a wide range of industries.
