This role combines leadership with operational execution, managing a team responsible for supplier business continuity planning (BCP), risk management, segmentation, onboarding and performance reporting.You will manage day-to-day team operations, monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs, and resolve issues promptly to maintain service quality. A key responsibility is ensuring accurate supplier data, timely onboarding, and robust performance reporting to support governance and strategic reviews. You will collaborate closely with global CRA and Category Management teams to align activities with strategic objectives, maintain audit-ready documentation, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.Key Accountabilities:Lead and coach a team delivering supplier risk, performance and segmentation for Indirect ProcurementManage capacity and foster a high-performance cultureOversee execution of supplier onboarding, maintenance, BCP, segmentation updates, and performance reportingDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, data integrity and compliance within purchasing systems and processesPartner with global CRA and Category Management teams to align service delivery with strategic objectives and customer expectationsProvide accurate compliance and risk reporting to leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-makingMaintain accurate supplier data and audit-ready documentation for risk and performance activitiesAct as escalation point for supplier performance or compliance issues; ensure timely resolution and communicationIdentify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder experienceCoach and mentor team members, building capability and engagementKey Experiences and Qualifications:10+ years of experience in compliance, risk or assurance and supplier management within procurement or supply chain functionsProven experience managing teams and delivering services against SLAs and KPIsHands-on experience with supplier onboarding, segmentation and performance monitoringUnderstanding of procurement policies, governance frameworks and compliance assessments related to aerospace and defenceExperience working in aerospace or defence sector, in both Indirect and Direct ProcurementStrong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., FAR/DFAR, ESG, anti-bribery, export controls)Experience leading transformation projects and driving process improvementsExperience with procurement systems and reporting toolsDemonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrix organisationProven track record in delivering business results and achieving objectives Our vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future.
