Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Workday Analyst to optimize Workday Recruiting, Talent Management, and related HR processes globally. You will partner with Global Talent, HR Operations, and business stakeholders to implement scalable Workday configurations, resolve issues, and ensure data integrity across recruiting, talent, and performance workflows.

A Workday SME, you will configure recruiting processes, support requisitions and candidate management, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• 8–12 years of industry experience with at least 4 years in HCM systems and recruiting configuration.
• Hands-on Workday Recruiting in a complex business environment.
• Experience configuring Workday Recruiting processes and related functionality.
• Workday certifications: Workday Pro in Recruiting and Workday Partner in Recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional SME for Workday Recruiting configuration, support, and process optimization.
• Configure and maintain Workday Recruiting business processes, rules, notifications, and templates.
• Support end-to-end recruiting workflows including requisitions, postings, candidate management, interviews, offers, and pre-hire activities.
• Triage ServiceNow cases and provide ongoing production support.
• Support Workday Talent Management and Performance configuration and processes.
• Assess, test, and validate Workday feature releases and configuration changes.

A Day in the Life

The Senior Workday Analyst serves as a subject matter expert for Workday Recruiting and supports Talent Management and Performance processes across the organization. This role partners closely with Global Talent, HR, HR Operations, and business stakeholders to maintain and optimize Workday configuration, improve process efficiency, and deliver a consistent user experience throughout recruiting, talent, and performance workflows. The position plays a key role in supporting system enhancements, resolving complex issues, ensuring data integrity, and implementing scalable solutions that support global talent acquisition and talent management initiatives.

• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Workday Recruiting configuration, support, and process optimization.
• Configure and maintain Workday Recruiting business processes, condition rules, notifications, questionnaires, candidate stages, disposition reasons, approval routing, and related recruiting setup.
• Support end-to-end recruiting workflows, including requisitions, approvals, job postings, candidate management, interviews, offers, pre-hire activities, and duplicate candidate resolution.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, HR Operations, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable Workday solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, process failures, and system defects through root cause analysis and sustainable resolution.
• Triage and resolve ServiceNow cases while providing ongoing production support.
• Maintain recruiting-related configuration, including offer letter templates, communication templates, application settings, and evergreen requisition setup.
• Support Workday Talent Management and Performance processes, including review cycles, workflow routing, notifications, talent reviews, calibration activities, and related configuration updates.
• Assess, test, document, and validate Workday feature releases and configuration changes.
• Ensure configurations align with governance, compliance, process consistency, and data integrity requirements while identifying opportunities to simplify workflows and improve user experience.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Must have Bachelors degree from a recognized university,
• Must have overall 8-12 years of Industry experience and minimum 4 years of Human Capital Management (HCM) systems experience, including Recruiting configuration experience; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of Recruiting application configuration experience.
• Hands‑on experience supporting Workday Recruiting in a complex business environment.
• Experience configuring and supporting Workday Recruiting business processes and related Recruiting functionality.
• Experience maintaining recruiting‑related configuration, including offer letter templates, notifications, questionnaires, candidate workflows, and related system settings.
• Experience supporting end‑to‑end recruiting processes in Workday, including requisitions, interviews, offers, and pre‑hire activities.
• Experience supporting production issue, testing, and change implementation.
  Preferred:
• Experience supporting Workday Talent Management and Performance configuration and processes.
• Experience with HiredScore configuration or support .
• Workday Pro Certification in Recruiting.
• Workday Partner Certification in Recruiting.
