Job summary

Fundtec is seeking a Senior US Accountant in Pune to manage day-to-day accounting operations and full-cycle bookkeeping. You will oversee month-end close, prepare working papers, and analyze financial statements with a focus on US GAAP compliance.

Responsibilities include supporting audits, managing AP/AR, and maintaining client communication. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 4+ years of experience (prefer US clients) are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience (US clients preferred).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Familiarity with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage (preferred).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting principles.
• Experience in reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
