Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Toys Testing Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of testing equipment and lab procedures, plus ISO/IEC 17025:2017 familiarity.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Guide testing personnel to perform testing per worksheet procedures.
  • Review worksheets and data sheets; help correct test data when needed.
  • Review test reports per client requirements and applicable standards.
  • Maintain and record lab equipment, environments, and maintenance logs.
  • Keep equipment logbooks and calibration records up to date.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely report releases.
  • Keep the test area clean and compliant with ISO 17025 lab procedures.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the lab manager; ensure no overdue reports.
  • Prepare training and assessments as per training plan.

Mission of the Role

The mission of a Hard Lines & Toys Testing Engineer is to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical systems and equipment through accurate testing, inspection, and analysis. They identify faults, maintain quality standards, support efficient operations, and ensure compliance with technical specifications, industry regulations, and safety guidelines to achieve optimal system functionality.

Mission of the Role

The mission of a Hard Lines & Toys Testing Engineer is to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical systems and equipment through accurate testing, inspection, and analysis. They identify faults, maintain quality standards, support efficient operations, and ensure compliance with technical specifications, industry regulations, and safety guidelines to achieve optimal system functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide the testing personnels to perform the Testing as per test Procedure/Method provided in worksheet.
  • Review the whole worksheet as per registration of the sample and review the results data sheet prepared by testing engineer & support to correct the test data, if any required.
  • Review the test report as per client requirement as well as latest test regulations, standards applicability.
  • Maintaining and record the lab Equipment’s, labs environment conditions & Maintenance record.
  • Maintain the Equipment logbooks & Calibration records up to date.
  • Communicate with inter department for required due report results follow up, so that can release all due reports within TAT.
  • To Keep the test Area Clean and hygiene as per laboratory procedures to comply ISO 17025.
  • To complete the job which assigned by the lab manager.
  • Ensure to release all due reports no any delay/overdue report is acceptable.
  • Prepare the training and assessment as per training Plan.
ISO/IEC 17025 Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to QMS procedures and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements
  • Report nonconformities to the Quality Manager / Technical Manager.
  • Perform all duties with impartiality, avoiding any activity that may create a conflict of interest.
HSE Responsibilities
  • Follow all laboratory safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Handle chemicals, samples, and waste as per procedures.
  • Promptly report near miss & unsafe conditions or accidents to HSE focal point.
Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in Toys Testing Engineer.
  • Ensure adherence to QMS procedures and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements Strong knowledge of testing equipment, laboratory procedures, and product evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
