Job summary

Samvith Technologies is seeking a capable test engineer to perform sample setups, conduct tests, and prepare detailed test reports. You will ensure proper preservation of samples and adherence to relevant standards, including ISO, EN, and MIL.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, environmental, and mechanical testing, and familiarity with common lab equipment. The candidate will communicate results to the appropriate department, support production issue investigations, and contribute to

Responsibilities

• Communicate test results with the concerned person/department.
• Support to customer complaint/production issues for testing of cables for various tests.
• Support for new project/product/new supplier development (In-house/outsource testing).
• New fixtures design & development for various testing.
• Ensure & control proper applications of ISO 14001 & EN/AS 9100 requirements & EHS guidelines.

Job Description: -

• Sample & test setup preparation to perform tests.
• Test report preparation & Sample preservation.
• Study of test methods and requirements of test standards like ASTM, EN, MIL etc
• Knowledge of electrical, environmental & mechanical testings.
• Should have knowledge about equipment/instrument like multimeter, power supply, Hi-pot tester, Vector network analyser, Oscilloscope Discontinuity monitor, Electrical load bank, CRO, ohm meter, etc.
• Communication of test results with concern person/department.
• Support to customer complaint/production issues for testing of cables for various tests.
• Support for new project/product/ new supplier development. (In-house testing/Outsource testing.).
• New fixtures design & development for various testing.
• Ensure & control proper applications of ISO 14001 & EN/AS 9100 standard requirements & EHS guidelines in respective processes.
