This role serves as the critical connection between product strategy, business outcomes, and engineering execution. You will own the direction and definition of a critical product portfolio, translating ideas and business needs into clear, technically sound requirements. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, and business stakeholders, you will help deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. Your decisions will influence revenue growth, customer experience, operational efficiency, and long-term platform health. The position requires strong technical judgment and the ability to make thoughtful decisions in ambiguous environments. You will balance innovation and feature delivery with technical debt, security, scalability, and delivery confidence. This is an opportunity to influence modern product practices while helping teams deliver measurable outcomes.

Accountabilities:

  • Own product definition and backlog quality by acting as the voice of the customer and translating market problems, business requirements, and product strategy into clear epics, features, and user stories.
  • Establish precise, testable acceptance criteria and clear definitions of done while continuously refining the product backlog to maintain readiness, clarity, and alignment with priorities.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture to ensure product solutions support scalable, event-driven, secure, and sustainable system designs.
  • Communicate priorities, business context, constraints, and expected outcomes clearly to development teams to maintain alignment between product intent and delivery execution.
  • Evaluate tradeoffs across customer value, technical feasibility, delivery risk, scalability, security, and long-term platform health.
  • Lead iteration planning and backlog refinement while supporting pragmatic, outcome-focused agile delivery practices.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers that could affect delivery timelines or expected product outcomes.
  • Champion the adoption of AI, automated testing, reusable solutions, repeatable processes, and secure-by-design practices.
  • Monitor product performance and delivery metrics to evaluate value realization, delivery predictability, and quality.
  • Use data, customer feedback, and delivery insights to inform roadmap evolution, prioritization, and product decisions.
  • Balance new feature development with defect resolution, technical debt reduction, and ongoing platform health.
  • Serve as a trusted product expert and ambassador for internal and external stakeholders while building strong cross-functional relationships around roadmap priorities and delivery expectations.
  • Mentor and support colleagues in modern product management and agile delivery practices while leading effectively through influence rather than formal authority.
Requirements:
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, Software Engineer, or in a similar role within agile environments.
  • Experience with criminal data source fulfillment or regulated data environments is highly desirable.
  • You have familiarity with AI, API-architected systems, and event-driven architectures.
  • You have strong technical acumen and can confidently engage in discussions involving APIs, system architecture, integrations, and cloud-native ecosystems.
  • You can translate complex business problems into clear, actionable, and technically sound requirements.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to balance feature delivery with platform health, scalability, security, and long-term sustainability.
  • You are comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and making informed decisions when information is incomplete.
  • You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and can build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • You are customer-focused, results-oriented, and committed to continuous learning, experimentation, and iteration.
  • You are collaborative and accountable, with the ability to lead and influence teams without relying on formal authority.
  • You have strong analytical, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Benefits:
  • Professional development opportunities, including access to an award-winning manager development program.
  • Generous Paid Time Off program, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
  • Volunteer Time Off opportunities supporting participation in philanthropic activities.
  • Competitive benefits, including medical and dental coverage, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
  • Access to a Global Employee Assistance Program.
  • Opportunities to connect with colleagues through Employee Impact Groups and employee experience events.
