Job summary

Genpact in Noida (Work from office) is seeking an experienced Procurement Operations professional to own end-to-end procurement workflows, requisition-to-purchase, and supplier governance.

You will drive compliance, process improvements, and partner with stakeholders to optimize cycle times, accuracy, and SLA adherence, while guiding a small team and ensuring PO creation and timely orders.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance procurement processes and healthcare context is desirable.
• Proficiency with requisition to Purchase Order processes.
• Knowledge of ERP/Procurement tools such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, Coupa.
• Willingness to work 5 days a week from the office, starting 6:00 AM IST.

**Work location: Noida (Work from office)

**Shift: Shift will begin at 6:00 AM (ANZ)

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Operations resource to own and manage key procurement workflows and operational delivery. In this dynamic role, you will lead end-to-end procurement operations, oversee requisition-to-purchase order activities, manage complex stakeholder and supplier escalations, and drive adherence to procurement policies and service levels. You must have deep, hands-on exposure to procurement operations, process governance, compliance controls, operational performance management, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate serves as a business partner to key stakeholders, helping optimize procurement cycle times, strengthen policy compliance, improve supplier and stakeholder experience, and drive operational efficiencies through standardization, automation, and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to P&S , preferably from Healthcare industry.

• Receive and Review the Purchase Requisitions in Client Systems
• Liaison with business stakeholders to understand the business requirements and missing information
• Validate Review Quote and Supporting Documentation attached in the Purchase Requisition
• Perform Compliance check adherence to Preferred Supplier List
• Create Purchase Orders in the relevant system
• Follow up for PO Acknowledgement
• Manage the SKU master data, including creation, modification, and compliance
• Review and validate SKU creation requests for completeness, accuracy and adherence to defined master-data standards
• Perform duplicate SKU checks and ensure adherence to SKU numbering, naming and classification standards
• Support periodic SKU master-data cleansing,including duplicate, obsolete, inactive and incomplete SKU identification and remediation
• Review supplier onboarding requests for completeness, accuracy and compliance with established procurement and supplier-management policies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to collect and validate required company, tax, banking, contact and statutory information.
• Support supplier registration through supplier portals, ERP systems and other onboarding platforms.
• Perform validation of supplier master information and supporting documentation before supplier creation.
• Conduct duplicate supplier checks and coordinate resolution of potential duplicate records.
• Coordinate supplier tax, banking and compliance validations in accordance with established procedures.
• Track supplier onboarding requests through approval workflows and follow up with internal stakeholders and suppliers on pending actions.
• Create or support creation of supplier master records in ERP / procurement systems after all required approvals are obtained.
• Liaison with business stakeholders to understand the business requirements and missing information
• Create customized reports around process performance, Service Levels
• Resolve Queries related to Vendor, PO Amendment, Training, Finding right approver
• Hold Quarterly Business Review and training sessions on new Procurement Policy, Processes and Compliance update for Client Business Users
• Supervise team member and Quality check deliverables, develop knowledge and support adhoc queries.
• Problem Solving & Issue Resolution Provide analytical insight, investigate root causes of accounting discrepancies, and implement sustainable corrective actions.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• College/University Graduate or Equivalent with proven experience in Finance.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• 5 -8 Years of experience in procurement processes such as Requisition to Purchase Order, Catalogue Management, Query Resolution and experience in indirect spend category within healthcare industry is desirable.
• Strong knowledge in requisition to Purchase Order Process.
• Working knowledge of systems including proficiency in Oracle Fusion, Sun Systems, SAP, Coupa and related Finance and Procurement applications is preferred.
• Strong SME & team leading skills with proven experience leading and developing teams of 10+ members.
