Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Specialist - F&A with expertise in R2R and external reporting to ensure accuracy of financial records, manage month-end close, and deliver board-ready reporting.

You will mentor the team, drive automation, and build KPI dashboards for leadership. The role partners with Finance, FP&A, Operations, and Transformation to optimize reporting processes and drive insights that support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Oversee monthly and year-end close with accurate journal entry preparation.
• Prepare and review financial statements for legal entities ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead end-to-end reporting and analytics for external reporting.
• Develop dashboards and visuals for management packs and board presentations.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards across the organization. Oversee the preparation of journal entries and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Generate and review financial statements for legal entities, ensuring overall accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Overseeing the management of Oracle Asset Management modules for additions, transfers, sales, and depreciation. Review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure account accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategies for financial reporting and operational efficiency. Mentor and lead the financial accounting team, promoting a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packs. Prepare Board, CFO, CEO, and Executive Leadership presentations. Develop KPI, SLA, and performance scorecards. Provide variance analysis and business performance commentary. Create dashboards and visual reporting solutions. Partner with Finance, FP&A, Operations, and Transformation teams. Drive reporting automation, standardization, and continuous improvement. Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights.

Decision Support Analytics

Manage end-to-end reporting delivery, stakeholder engagement, reporting timelines, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coach and develop reporting analysts and team members.
