Job summary

Tata Communications is seeking a capable Solution Design professional to support design, development and implementation for Hybrid Network Services opportunities. The role may lead projects, guiding team members to ensure high-quality delivery and alignment with customer requirements.

The incumbent will work across Product and Engineering, deliver technical sales materials, and assist in crafting solution proposals and project plans for key accounts.

Qualifications

• Ability to map business goals to technical requirements.
• Exposure to RFP cases.
• Knowledge of creating HLD and LLD.
• Good understanding of use cases and solutions related to them.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Understanding of technology and services in the domain.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutioning support to sales teams in the region or function.
• Support bid team to prepare responses to technical aspects of RFP.
• Understand pricing mechanisms and support sales in building commercial inputs.
• Prepare technical sales materials including collateral, quotations, timelines, project plans and proposals.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and cross-functional teams to create required solutions.
• Create Use cases and BOQ documents.
• Provide L4 support to Operations for design issues needing engineering intervention.
• Conduct POC and demos per customer requirements, design migration plans and support project management.

Broad outline of the Role

• The role is responsible for providing support for solution design, development, and implementation for specific business opportunities in Hybrid Network Services domain. The incumbent may lead important projects that require providing experienced project team members with instruction, guidance, and advice in all aspects of the project to ensure delivery of quality outcomes. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have a direct impact on solution engineering for the assigned account/business.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in engineering; 4-7 Years relevant experience

Other Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to understand business goals and map to technical requirements.
• Exposure towards working in the RFP cases.
• Knowledge of creating HLD and LLD
• Good understanding of use cases and able to create solutions relating to the use cases.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, Power point, Visio)
• Understanding of technology and services related to the domain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide solutioning support to sales teams in the region or function.
2. Support bid team to prepare responses to technical aspects of RFP.

4. Preparation of technical sales materials including collateral, quotation, timeline, project plan and solution proposals.
5. Work closely withteamslike Product, Engineering and various cross functional teams to create required solution to enhance the service offering.
6. Create Use cases, BOQ documents.
7. Provide L4 support to Operations for any design or repeated issues which needs Engineering intervention.
8. Conduct POC, demo as per the customer requirements, design migration plans and support project management for generating project implementation plans.
9. Conduct periodic session with the identified set of partners to understand new product features that would benefit customers and their product roadmap.
