Job summary

Tata Communications invites a Large Deal Architect to own governance and enterprise design of solution fitment for complex deals. You will align customer requirements with delivery models in RFPs across Network/SDWAN/Cloud & security and related domains.

You will collaborate with sales, products, engineering, and service delivery to craft end-to-end service models and lead client presentations. Requires engineering degree and 7–15 years of relevant experience; certifications in EA/SIAM/ITIL are

• Lead the customer presentation in RFP and proactive engagement ensuring crisp messaging and value proposition is well articulated.
• Work with sales, products, engineering, and commercial teams to prepare responses to client requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated service designs across products.

Broad outline of the Role

• The role owns the overall governance and enterprise design of solution fitment with customer requirements. As Large deal architect you will oversee fitment of technical solution design, service design, commercial model and contractual framework for complex solutions in the respective areas of Network/SDWAN/Cloud & security/Unified Collaboration/Mobility & IoT/other domains with the objective of alignment with customer requirement, internal readiness and market competitiveness. This is a tactical role that leads large RFP and significantly contributes in aligning end-to-end service model across delivery and assurance cycles with objectives and requirements of the RFP.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in engineering; 7-15 Years relevant experience
• Certifications in Enterprise Architecture, SIAM, ITIL preferred

Other Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to translate customer and business requirements into service offerings.
• Understanding Enterprise Architecture, business concepts, processes, and requirements
• Experience in creating value stream maps, articulating the value proposition, story telling the solution is must.
• Driving creative, logical solutions and assisting in the presentation of findings and recommendations to clients
• Industry domain knowledge of key technology and industry trends is preferred
• Experience of delivering and managing infrastructure solutions for customers is desired.
• Understanding of Tata Communications product portfolio like Network, UCC, Cloud & Security, to build services around the core product.
• Possess strong presentation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver presentations with customers and to tailor content to an audience as appropriate

Key Responsibilities

• Work with various stakeholders including sales team, products team, engineering team, commercial teams, service delivery and assurance to jointly prepare our response to customer requirements
• Work with clients, internal stakeholders to provide integrated service design across multiple products to meet the client requirements
• Provide expertise to internal teams and/or external vendors to ensure effective delivery of the defined solution
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout complete lifecycle (Pre-sales, Delivery, Support).
• Analyze & understand the customer's business complexities, challenges, and strategy to drive value from the solutions provided.
• Develop deal specific services pricing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage in contractual discussions pertaining to service design.
• Conduct Design workshops and capture the service scope to be handed over for enablement.
• Guide other architects working with you in the team. Adapt communications and approaches to conclude technical scope discussions with various Partners, resulting In Common Agreements.
• Nurture & learn upcoming technologies for evolving our services.
