Job summary

GetixHealth in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced SDET to perform hands-on manual and automated testing across enterprise applications. You will design, maintain, and optimize test scripts, data sets, and assets, while creating RTMs, test plans, and scenarios to ensure full coverage.

You will lead test readiness, perform API/backend testing with C#, PHP, and Python services, and drive QE best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering.
• 6+ years of SDET/QA experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on testing of REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• API testing with Postman/REST Assured/SoapUI.
• Strong SDLC/Agile understanding and defect lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD integrations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Dev and Ops to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote shift-left testing, TDD, and BDD to improve quality across SDLC.

Position responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manual and automated testing across enterprise applications, including Functional, Integration, End-to-End, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression testing.
• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts, frameworks, test data sets, and reusable test assets.
• Create and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure complete test coverage.
• Review and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and solution designs to identify risks, gaps, and testability concerns.
• Lead test readiness activities, including test planning, scope definition, script development, execution scheduling, defect management, and test reporting.
• Perform API and backend testing for RESTful services and enterprise applications developed using C#, PHP, and Python.
• Drive adoption of testing standards, quality engineering best practices, and scalable test management processes.
• Expand and enhance the organization's test automation footprint through script development, code reviews, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Promote shift-left testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to improve software quality throughout the SDLC.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in SDET, Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or related roles within enterprise environments on both manual and automation testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience testing applications, RESTful APIs, and backend services developed using C#, PHP, and Python technologies.
• Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright or equivalent.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and quality engineering practices.
• Experience with TDD, BDD, shift-left testing, and continuous testing approaches.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
