Job summary

Harris is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer specializing in ServiceNow. You will work on development projects and enhancements, handle troubleshooting, and design/deploy technical solutions including APIs, SSO, REST, and UI components.

You will also maintain update sets and ensure a highly available environment while collaborating with process owners. The role requires strong communication, a Bachelor’s in CS/IT, and ServiceNow development experience with ITIL knowledge.

• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, UI pages/actions/policies, ACLs and notifications, ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS, HTML, CSS, Angular JS.
• Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances.
• Design and maintain a highly available and recoverable environment.
• Review requirements to ensure detailed estimates.
• Proactively keep ServiceNow skills current.
• Mentor and share knowledge with the service management team.
• Collaborate with process owners and other stakeholders.

Sr. Software Engineer - ServiceNow

Experience: Minimum 5 yrs. of total and relevant experience as ServiceNow Developer. Worked in ITSM organizational structure. Experience implementing the following Core Process Areas: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request and CMDB.

Responsibilities

• Work on development projects/enhancements for ServiceNow.
• Handle troubleshooting tickets in ServiceNow.
• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, technical solutions such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, ACLs and notifications, ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS, development skills, such as HTML, CSS, Angular JS.
• Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances.
• Design and maintain a highly available and recoverable environment.
• Responsible for reviewing requirements to ensure that they are provided in sufficient detail to be accurately estimated.
• Proactively keep ServiceNow skills current.
• Peer review, Mentor and share technical knowledge with service management team.
• You will be required to work with process owners and other stakeholders.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT or relevant work experience
