Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in Pune, India is seeking an Assistant Manager Service – Controls to lead installation, commissioning, maintenance and service support for Building Management Systems and HVAC controls.

The role involves managing a team of service engineers and technicians, coordinating with customers and project teams to ensure timely delivery, adherence to safety and quality standards. You will drive fault diagnosis, schedule management, and continuous improvement of service processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in BMS, HVAC Controls, Installation, and Commissioning.
• Minimum 2–3 years of team handling or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of BMS and HVAC control systems.
• Manage installation and integration of controllers, sensors, actuators, VFDs, control panels, and field devices.
• Oversee commissioning of HVAC equipment including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, Pumps, and VAV systems.
• Ensure successful integration through BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and other communication protocols.
• Support system testing, point-to-point checks, functional testing, and performance validation.
• Manage service schedules, resource allocation, and field execution activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to service engineers and technicians.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Review service reports, commissioning documentation, and project handover records.
• Drive customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company operational standards.
