Job summary

Johnson Controls in Pune seeks an Assistant Manager Service – Controls to lead installation, commissioning, maintenance of BMS and HVAC controls, and service support. You will manage a team of service engineers and technicians to ensure project delivery and system reliability.

The role requires strong knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and field devices, with 6–10 years in BMS/HVAC, and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience in BMS, HVAC Controls, Installation & Commissioning.
• Minimum 2–3 years of team handling or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of BMS and HVAC control systems.
• Manage installation and integration of controllers, sensors, actuators, VFDs, control panels, and field devices.
• Oversee commissioning of HVAC equipment including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, Pumps, and VAV systems.
• Ensure successful integration through BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and other communication protocols.
• Support system testing, point-to-point checks, functional testing, and performance validation.
• Manage service schedules, resource allocation, and field execution activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to service engineers and technicians.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Review service reports, commissioning documentation, and project handover records.
• Drive customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company operational standards.
