About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and execution-focused Senior SEO Strategist to drive organic growth initiatives across client and internal projects.

This is a hands-on individual contributor (IC) role where you'll own SEO strategy from planning to execution. You will work closely with developers, designers, content teams, project managers, and client stakeholders to deliver measurable SEO results. The ideal candidate is passionate about technical SEO, content optimization, analytics, AI-driven search, and staying ahead of evolving search engine trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies for multiple client accounts.
• Conduct comprehensive SEO audits (technical, on-page, content, and off-page).
• Perform keyword research, search intent mapping, and competitor analysis.
• Build SEO roadmaps aligned with client business goals.
• Plan SEO activities for website launches, redesigns, and migrations.

2. Technical SEO & Website Optimization

• Identify and resolve crawlability, indexing, rendering, and site architecture issues.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, and website performance.
• Implement structured data (Schema Markup) and technical SEO best practices.
• Work closely with developers to ensure SEO-friendly implementations.
• Create keyword-driven content strategies and content briefs.
• Optimize metadata, headings, internal linking, URLs, and page structure.
• Conduct content gap analysis and identify new growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-optimized content.
• Improve topical authority through strategic content planning.

4. Analytics, Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and engagement metrics.
• Build insightful reports using GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Looker Studio.
• Analyze SEO performance and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Monitor competitor performance and industry trends.
• Develop SEO strategies aligned with AI-powered search experiences.
• Optimize content for AI search platforms and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
• Leverage AI tools for keyword clustering, content optimization, and workflow automation.
• Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, AI search evolution, and emerging SEO best practices.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with developers, designers, content writers, and project managers to execute SEO initiatives.
• Participate in client discussions and provide SEO recommendations when required.
• Ensure SEO is integrated throughout website planning and development.

7. Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing

• Create SEO SOPs, documentation, and best practice guides.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive SEO tasks.
• Share industry updates, learnings, and innovative SEO approaches with the team.
