Job summary

Gerent Technologies in India is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, build, test and deploy custom solutions on the Salesforce Platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and OmniStudio.

You will translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, optimize Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, and integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events and DataRaptors. Strong focus on code quality and security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with substantial custom development work.
• End-to-end delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud & Omnistudio in at least two implementations each.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, sharing and security (profiles, roles, FLS/CRUD).
• Strong declarative skills: Flows, validation rules, approvals, dynamic forms, escalation rules.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC and declarative tooling.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy custom solutions on the Salesforce Platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components and declarative tooling.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, and make an explicit configuration-vs-code decision for each requirement with the reasoning documented.
• Extend and optimise Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud implementations, including custom Experience Cloud components and guest-user-safe patterns.
• Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Salesforce Connect and middleware.
• Write Apex test classes and Jest tests to meet quality gates; participate in peer code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• SOQL/SOSL, selective queries, indexing and large-data-volume strategies.
• Apex: triggers with a proper trigger-handler framework, batch, queueable, schedulable and future methods, asynchronous patterns, callouts, custom REST/SOAP services.
• Lightning Web Components: composition, reactivity, wire adapters, imperative Apex calls, Lightning Message Service, events, SLDS, accessibility.
• OmniStudio: working experience building and supporting OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures and DataRaptors / Data Mappers.

Preferred candidate profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience, with a substantial proportion of that in custom development rather than configuration alone.
• Proven delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud & Omnistudio at least two end‑to‑end implementations in each.
• Deep understanding of the Salesforce data model, sharing and security model (profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, OWD, FLS/CRUD enforcement).
• Strong declarative skills: Flows, validation rules, approval processes, dynamic forms, assignment and escalation rules and the judgement to know when these are the right answer.
• Should be very good with APEX & LWC . Should be able to answer scenario based questions and build quickly.
