Job summary

Agile Technology Solutions - Your Technology Partner in Maharashtra seeks an experienced Purchase/Sourcing professional to manage end-to-end procurement for automotive manufacturing operations. You will handle electronic components sourcing, supplier development, and cost optimization to ensure uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities include RFQ management, cost comparisons, PO issuance, and cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Quality, Production, SCM and NPD teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement/Sourcing of electronic components.
• Strong experience in supplier development, commercial negotiation, costing and vendor management.
• Good understanding of electronic components and their sourcing/manufacturing processes.
• PCB/PCBA experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

• Source ICs, semiconductors, sensors, connectors, resistors, capacitors, relays and other electronic components.
• Identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers and manage existing supplier relationships.
• Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, prepare cost comparisons and negotiate commercial terms.
• Prepare and manage Cost Cards / PFS as per company guidelines.
• Release and manage Purchase Orders and Schedule Agreements.
• Drive cost reduction, localization and supplier development initiatives.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, SCM and NPD teams for sourcing requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, cost, delivery and capacity.
• Ensure timely availability of electronic components to avoid production line stoppages.
• Support new project sourcing and NPD procurement.
• Manage procurement risks and resolve critical supplier/material availability issues.

• 5+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement/Sourcing of electronic components – Mandatory.

• Good understanding of electronic components and their sourcing/manufacturing processes.
• Experience in automotive electronics / electronics manufacturing will be preferred.
• PCB/PCBA experience is preferred but not mandatory.
