• Embed win themes, messages and client benefits throughout proposal responses.

• Deliver outputs within a workshare model, maintaining alignment with Main Centre teams.
• Review and integrate content from proposal support and close gaps.
• Ensure quality, consistency and compliance of proposal sections.
• Contribute to knowledge management, planning, reviews and continuous improvement in proposals.

Title: Senior Proposal Engineer

Role Purpose

The Senior Proposal Engineer, Chennai provides the critical link between, Growth / Business Development and Delivery Operations in the Main Centre and the India Proposal Hub. The role translates Client requirements, project execution strategies, win themes and commercial objectives into compelling technical proposal content and ensures delivery of high-quality proposal outputs through a workshare model.

Work Pattern - To be aligned to the Main centre timings

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Growth/Business Development and Delivery Operations teams in the Main Centre to understand the Clients requirements, project scope, delivery strategy, risks and key success factors.
• Apply practical project execution and delivery experience to develop credible, executable and customer-focused proposal solutions.
• Develop and write technical proposal content that clearly communicates KBRs solution, execution approach and differentiators.
• Ensure win themes, key messages and Client benefits are effectively embedded throughout proposal responses.
• Translate proposal requirements and direction into clear instructions for proposal coordination, document development and administrative support teams in India.
• Deliver effectively within a workshare environment, ensuring availability, maintaining alignment and communication between the main hubs and India proposal team.
• Review, integrate and validate proposal content produced by proposals support team and coordinate closure of gaps.
• Be accountable for the quality, consistency and compliance of assigned proposal sections.
• Active knowledge management
• Contribute to proposal planning, reviews, lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives across the proposal function.
• Coach and develop proposal team members to improve proposal quality and technical understanding.

Key Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in project execution, project delivery, engineering management or project management within engineering, consulting, EPC or EPCM environments.
• Previous experience supporting the development of proposals, tenders or major pursuits.
• Strong understanding of how projects are planned, executed, managed and delivered.
• Strong technical writing, editing and communication skills.
• Ability to convert technical, operational and commercial information into persuasive proposal content.
• Experience working across multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
• Ability to build effective relationships with Growth/Business Development and Delivery Operations in the Main Centre.
• The role requires presence in office working alongside the team and the ability to flex to support the bid deadlines and seamless coordination with Main Centre.
