Job summary

Zuper seeks a Mobile Product Designer to own the mobile and tablet experiences across iOS and Android, designed for field use at job sites, trucks, and attics. You will address offline and connectivity challenges, leverage native capabilities, and work with customer teams to capture real-world workflows.

You will contribute to the Prelude design system and prototype on real devices to ensure robust, production-ready UX.

Qualifications

Mobile Product Designer

4 - 6 years Full-time iOS Android Field-first

THE ROLE

Zuper is a field service management platform built for the trades - and our customers teams run on mobile. Theyre at job sites, in trucks, in attics, making decisions with a phone in one hand and a clipboard in the other. Were looking for a designer who can own that platform entirely: building experiences that work in real-world conditions, not ideal ones. Glare, gloves, interrupted connectivity, and two-second attention spans are the actual design brief.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Own the end-to-end design of Zupers mobile and tablet experiences across iOS and Android
• Design for the field - job sites, vehicles, client walkthroughs - where context shifts fast and the UI has to keep up
• Handle connectivity edge cases like a first-class design problem: offline states, sync flows, partial data, and graceful degradation
• Use native platform capabilities purposefully - camera for estimates and documentation, GPS for job context, push for timely handoffs
• Talk to our customers teams regularly - understand their day in the field before you design for it
• Build and extend the mobile component library within the Prelude design system
• Prototype on real devices and test in real conditions - not just in Figma

• Treat customers as active design partners.
• Use customer conversations as research opportunities.
• Understand customer needs and workflows before designing solutions.

Ownership

• Independently identify mobile platform requirements.
• Identify and resolve broken or inefficient user experiences.
• Take ownership of the mobile experience without waiting for detailed specifications.

Experience

• 4-6 years of product design experience.
• Strong, demonstrable mobile design portfolio.
• B2B or enterprise mobile product design experience is a strong advantage.
