Ingersoll Rand, a leading global engineering company, seeks a Sr. Engineer - PPC in Haryana to lead production planning, scheduling, and SAP-PP operations.

This embedded role focuses on ensuring on-time deliveries and optimal inventory while coordinating with cross-functional teams and manufacturing units. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in PPC/SAP-PP, B.E./B.Tech in mechanical engineering, and strong data analysis skills.

Formación

• B. Tech/BE in mechanical engineering.
• Min 5+ years’ experience in PPC and SAP-PP.

Responsabilidades

• Manage production planning activities based on customer demand and capacity.
• Run and monitor SAP MRP processes and create production orders in SAP.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Execution, Quality, and stores for production.
• Monitor material availability and ensure timely replenishment to avoid disruptions.
• Track production performance and delivery commitments.
• Identify shortages and reduce excess inventory with improvement actions.
• Support inventory management including cycle counting and stock accuracy.

Job Summary

PPC Senior Engineer is responsible for production planning, scheduling, material requirement planning (MRP), inventory control, and SAP PP module operations to ensure smooth manufacturing processes, optimum inventory levels, and on-time customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute production planning activities based on customer demand and production capacity.
• Run and monitor SAP MRP processes, analyze planning outputs and create/ maintain production orders in SAP.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Execution, Quality, and store teams for production execution.
• Monitor material availability and ensure timely replenishment to avoid production disruptions.
• Track production performance, schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and delivery commitments.
• Analyze shortages, excess inventory, and slow-moving stock, and implement improvement actions.
• Support inventory management, cycle counting, and stock accuracy initiatives.
• Generate and analyze PPC KPIs such as OTIF, inventory turnover, plan adherence, and production efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

• B. T Tech/ BE in mechanical engineering
• Min 5+ years’ experience in PPC & SAP-PP module

• Experience of using SAP PP modules
• Inventory optimization and reduction of excess stock
• Strong organizational & time management
• Proficiency in MS office and Material management system
• Knowledge of manufacturing process
• Expertise in data analysis, data reporting, and data validation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
