• Identify delays and critical activities affecting timelines.

• Conduct coordination meetings with project teams.
• Prepare look-ahead plans and track resources.
• Provide progress data for MIS reports and management presentations.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors on schedules.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to manage project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and progress control for residential construction projects. The candidate should have strong experience in project execution planning and coordination with construction, design, procurement, billing, and other project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project schedules and master plans using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Develop baseline schedules, construction programmes, and project milestones.
• Prepare detailed plans for RCC, finishing, MEP, external development, and handover activities.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against the approved schedule.
• Identify delays, critical activities, and potential risks affecting project timelines.
• Prepare recovery plans and revised schedules to achieve project completion targets.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings with project execution, design, procurement, contracts, and MEP teams.
• Prepare and monitor look-ahead plans (weekly and monthly).
• Track manpower, material, equipment, and resource requirements as per the project schedule.
• Prepare S-curves, manpower histograms, cash flow projections, and progress reports.
• Monitor critical path activities and update project schedules regularly.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure planned activities are executed as per schedule.
• Prepare MIS reports and management presentations related to project progress and delays.
• Support management in decision-making by providing accurate project planning and progress data.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors regarding project schedules and completion targets.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Good understanding of residential construction methodology.
• Knowledge of RCC, finishing, MEP, and overall project execution.
• Strong skills in project scheduling, monitoring, and delay analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and project reporting.
• Ability to prepare S-curves, bar charts, resource plans, and progress reports.
