Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices against POs, GRNs, and supporting documents.
• Prepare vendor payment proposals and coordinate payments in ERP/SAP.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Monitor advances and employee reimbursements.
• Maintain vendor master records and documentation.
• Ensure GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
• Perform monthly AP/AR reconciliations and assist close.
• Prepare MIS reports on receivables, payables, and cash flow.
• Assist in statutory audits and internal compliance reviews.

Job description

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process and verify vendor invoices against Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and supporting documents.
• Ensure timely accounting of supplier invoices in ERP/SAP.
• Prepare vendor payment proposals and coordinate payment processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment-related discrepancies.
• Monitor advance payments and employee reimbursements.
• Maintain vendor master records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance related to vendor payments.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Generate and account customer invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and aging reports.
• Follow up with customers for timely collections.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing disputes.
• Track advances received from customers and adjust against invoices.
• Support customer account confirmations and audits.

General Accounting & MIS

• Perform monthly AP/AR reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports related to receivables, payables, and cash flow.
• Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews.
• Ensure proper document retention and accounting record maintenance.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Companies Act, and accounting policies.
• Maintain strong internal controls over payment and collection processes.
• Support implementation of finance process improvements and automation initiatives.
