Job summary

Astreya Consultancy India Private Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a senior Network Engineer to lead PoP builds, maintain HLD/LLD documentation, and oversee end-to-end circuit migrations with minimal downtime.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in network engineering, experience in multi-vendor environments, and proficiency with OSPF/IS-IS/EIGRP/BGP, WAN protocols, and overlay technologies such as VxLAN and VRFs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Experience in network operations and service optimization in highly available, multi-vendor large-scale, multi-site, international environment.
• Proficiency with WAN circuits and protocols (SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN).
• Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, BGP).
• Experience with virtualization/overlay technologies: VxLAN, MP-BGP, VRFs.
• Collaborating with vendors for circuit delivery, problem solving and migrations.
• CCIE or equivalent certifications are a plus.

The scope of work will include:

• Leading PoP builds
• Creating and maintaining HLD/LLD documentation
• Performing Nautobot updates
• Managing circuit turn-ups
• Overseeing network go-lives
• Executing data center-to-PoP migrations with minimal downtime

What we need to see:

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering Experience and expertise in network operations and service optimization in highly available, network infrastructure solutions in a multi-vendor large-scale, multi-site, international environment.
• WAN circuits and protocols (SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN)
• Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, BGP)
• Diverse skills in client and network operating systems such as Linux, Cumulus, Cisco IOS, Arista OS, etc.
• Virtualization & Overlay technologies, both networking (VxLAN, MP-BGP, VRFs)
• Expertise in collaborating with vendors to run circuit delivery, problem solving and migrations
• CCIE or equivalent certifications are a plus
