Job summary

Corpay is seeking a Sr. Microsoft Engineer to join its Global IT team supporting North America division—working remotely from offshore locations outside North America, aligned to east coast business hours.

You will manage Windows Server environments, Azure VMs, AD/Exchange/M365, and cross-functional collaboration with Security and Operations to maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and lead modernization initiatives across cloud and on-premises platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 6–8 years of systems administration or infra engineering experience.
• Microsoft role-based certifications: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, Azure Administrator, Azure AI, or Azure Fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server operating systems and on-premise/cloud environments.
• Administer and optimize Azure Virtual Machines and AD/Exchange/M365 environments.
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, and Operations to ensure secure, scalable infrastructure.

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Microsoft Engineer within our Corporate Overhead North America division. This position falls under our Global Chief Technology Officer line of business and will report to the North America IT Computing Microsoft Manager.

Your role

As a Sr. Microsoft Engineer, you will be part of a growing operational team of engineers that work to keep the organization’s infrastructure on the leading edge. Duties entail innovating infrastructure enhancements and maintaining the Microsoft Windows Server on-premise, private and public cloud environments within North America. This position is within our infrastructure computing organization. The successful candidate will require a firm understanding of Microsoft Windows server platforms along with public, private cloud environments to be effective within the role. Along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and team focus oriented.

Role Responsibilities

• Assess, manage, and advance:
  • Windows Server operating systems
  • Azure Virtual Machines
  • Active Directory environments

• Administer and enhance Active Directory global forests, including:
  • Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
  • Sites and Services replication
  • Organizational Unit (OU) structure
  • Trust relationships and security
• Troubleshoot and remediate:
  • Microsoft Windows operating system events and issues
  • Network connectivity alerts
  • Infrastructure-related incidents through approved change control procedures
• Monitor and resolve Windows Server network connectivity issues within established SLA requirements to prevent production outages.
• Ensure all Windows Server operating systems remain:
  • Patched
  • Secure
  • Compliant with organizational standards
• Review enterprise vulnerability scan results and automate remediation activities to improve compliance and reduce manual intervention.
• Partner with Information Security teams to maintain a secure, virus- free computing environment.
• Plan and implement infrastructure projects, including:
  • Operating system upgrades
  • Application upgrades
  • Cloud and on-premises technology enhancements
• Adhere to organizational Change Management and Change Control processes for all system modifications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including:
  • Service tickets
  • Change requests
  • Knowledge base articles
  • Standard operating procedures
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant systems administration or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Must possess at least one Microsoft role-based certification in the following areas:
  • Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
  • Azure Administrator
  • Azure AI
  • Azure Fundamentals
