Job summary

Effic Hr Consulting in Sriperumbudur seeks a Sr. Manager - Vendor Development with 15-20 years of vendor experience to lead sourcing, RFQ processes, and tooling cost estimates.

You will drive new development specs, oversee supplier negotiations, release schedules, and ensure timely component development while coordinating with internal teams. BE/Diploma from a reputed institute is preferred; owning a vehicle is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years in vendor development, preferably in sheet metal industries.
• BE or Diploma from a reputed institute.
• Experience in RFQ handling and tooling cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• New RFQ handling and tooling cost estimation.
• RFQ and component price negotiation with techno-commercial negotiations.
• Releasing schedule and creating PO including increases/decreases for RM with cost breakdown.
• Developing child parts for new development, second sourcing and approvals.
• Oversee the development process to ensure timely component delivery.
• Arrange material as per SOS requirement.
• Prepare MIS data for monthly price changes and vendor master management in ERP for schedule generation.
• Ensure SOP readiness (Start of Production).
