The role focuses on polymers, raw materials, and packaging, with global supplier development and cost control at the core. The ideal candidate will negotiate terms, manage supplier performance, oversee inventory, and coordinate with production, planning, warehouse, QA, finance and logistics to ensure timely material

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of polymers, plastic raw materials, additives, masterbatches and packaging materials.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing and cost-saving plans.
• Identify, evaluate and develop domestic and international suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts and delivery schedules.
• Monitor commodity prices, market trends and raw material fluctuations.
• Ensure timely material availability as per production requirements.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Coordinate with production, planning, warehouse, QA, finance and logistics teams.
• Monitor supplier quality, delivery performance and commercial terms.
• Handle import procurement and international supplier coordination.
• Prepare procurement MIS, cost analysis and supplier performance reports.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and requirements.
