Job summary

Amara Raja Group seeks a Manager/Sr. Manager - Project Coordination to drive end-to-end execution of a large-scale Lithium Battery Manufacturing project at the project site/corporate office.

You will coordinate with clients, design consultants, EPC contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timelines, quality and budget objectives are met. Experience ranges 12-18 years in major industrial projects; PMP is a plus, and familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project is required for schedules

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Industrial / Civil Engineering.
• PMP certification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall project activities from concept to commissioning of Lithium Battery Manufacturing facilities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved schedules and milestones.
• Track engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Identify project bottlenecks and drive corrective action plans.
• Act as the primary interface between the client, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical and commercial issues raised by stakeholders.
• Coordinate with design consultants for engineering deliverables and approvals.
• Review design progress against project schedules.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination among Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Utility, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Process teams.
• Monitor drawing approvals and technical document submissions.
• Develop and maintain project execution schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Monitor critical path activities and ensure timely completion.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Track project KPIs and milestone achievements.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
• Track manufacturing, dispatch, and installation schedules of critical equipment.
• Ensure timely material availability at site.
• Identify schedule, engineering, procurement, and execution risks.
• Develop mitigation plans and elevate critical issues to management.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Support handover documentation and project closure activities.

Job Purpose

To coordinate and drive the end-to-end execution of a large-scale Lithium Battery Manufacturing project, ensuring seamless collaboration between clients, design consultants, EPC contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders while maintaining project timelines, quality standards, and budget objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution

• Coordinate overall project activities from concept to commissioning of Lithium Battery Manufacturing facilities.

• Must have worked in projects with a value of 1,000 Cr to 2,000 Cr+.
• Strong experience in client coordination, consultant management, and project schedule monitoring.
