Job summary

Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) is seeking an experienced PMO/Project Manager to lead end-to-end program execution for Li-Ion battery pack initiatives in Bengaluru. You will work with engineering, R&D, procurement, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure timelines, scope and budgets are met.

You will coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers, manage risk, and elevate issues to senior leadership as needed, driving seamless program delivery in a fast-growing energy storage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
• Preferred specializations: Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics.
• 10–14 years of experience in Program or Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end program execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget.
• Collaborate with engineering, R&D, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Track progress, resolve bottlenecks, and escalate critical issues to senior leadership as needed.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Operations, and Sales to align objectives and meet customer requirements.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure program stability and successful delivery.

Exide Energy Solutions Ltd is setting up India's first Giga plant to manufacture Lithium Ion Cells in Bengaluru.

Roles and Responsibility:

Program Execution & Delivery

• Manage end-to-end program execution, ensuring adherence to defined timelines, scope, and budget.
• Work closely with engineering, R&D, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of Li-Ion battery pack programs.
• Track program progress, resolve bottlenecks, and elevate critical issues to senior leadership when required.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Operations, and Sales teams, to align program objectives.
• Ensure seamless coordination between different departments to meet customer and business requirements.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business functions to streamline workflows.
• Engage with customers for program updates, requirement gathering, and issue resolution.
• Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Support Sales teams in customer interactions related to program commitments.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure program stability.
• Troubleshoot program challenges and work on corrective actions.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure programs adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal Quality Processes.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, risk registers, and status updates.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering

Preferred specializations: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics.

• 10 - 14 years of experience in Program or Project Management

Industry preference:

Manufacturing

Automotive / EV (Electric Vehicle)

Energy storage / battery industry

Industrial engineering environments

Mandatory Skills:
