Job summary

Talentbuz is seeking a Regulatory Compliance and Legal Oversight professional to ensure adherence to environmental, industrial, labor, and export laws and to draft and vet required legal documents.

You will lead government liaison activities, obtain and renew licenses, manage risk, and maintain comprehensive regulatory documentation with authorities such as PCB, CGWA, DGFT, and local regulators.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental, industrial, labor, and export regulations.
• Interpret legal requirements and provide actionable guidance to internal teams.
• Draft, review, and vet agreements, notices, and legal documents.
• Act as primary point of contact with government authorities and handle licensing/approvals.
• Represent the organization during inspections, hearings, and audits.
• Manage end-to-end processes for obtaining/renewing environmental clearances, CTO/CTE, factory licenses, and related permissions.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain proper records of licenses, approvals, correspondence with authorities, and ensure timely renewals.

• PollutionControlBoard(PCB)
• CentralGroundWaterAuthority(CGWA)
• Export/ImportDepartments(DGFT,Customs,etc.)
• Factory&BoilerDepartment
• LocalandStateRegulatoryAuthorities
• Handleapprovals,licenses,renewals,andregulatoryfilings.

Representtheorganizationduringinspections,hearings,andaudits.

3.Licensing&Approvals

• Manageend-to-endprocessesforobtainingandrenewing:
• Environmentalclearances
• ConsenttoEstablish(CTE)/ConsenttoOperate(CTO)
• Factorylicensesandboilercertifications
• Groundwaterextractionpermissions
• Export-relatedregistrationsandcompliance

4.RiskManagement&Advisory

• Identifylegalandregulatoryrisksandproposemitigationstrategies.
• Advisemanagementonchangesinlawsandtheirbusinessimpact.

5.Documentation&RecordKeeping

• Maintainproperrecordsoflicenses,approvals,andcorrespondence

withauthorities.
