Job summary

Ambashakti Industries Limited in Gwalior, MP, seeks a Sr. Manager – Finance & Accounts with 10–15 years of experience to lead the plant's F&A functions.

You will oversee accounting, ERP operations, tax compliance, working capital, banking, and monthly close, coordinating with auditors and cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have hands-on plant accounting experience, GST expertise, and familiarity with ERP systems like Lighthouse.

Qualifications

• CA(I)/M.Com/B.Com with relevant experience
• 10–15 years of experience, preferably in Ethanol, Distillery, Sugar, Biofuel or Process Manufacturing Plant
• Ethanol/Distillery Plant exposure is strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience in Plant Accounting, GST, Banking, Working Capital and DP preparation
• Working knowledge of Lighthouse ERP or any comparable ERP

Responsibilities

• Manage General Accounting, GL, Trial Balance and month-end closing activities
• Handle Finance & Accounts operations through Lighthouse ERP, including accounting entries, ledger review and reporting
• Manage Accounts Receivable & Payable, ageing, reconciliation and collection/payment follow-up
• Prepare and review monthly Balance Sheet, P&L schedules, provisions, accruals and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other applicable taxation requirements, including GST reconciliation and returns
• Manage banking activities, Bank Reconciliation, fund transfers, bank documentation and coordination with bankers
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, receivables, payables and inventory, and provide regular MIS to management
• Prepare Drawing Power (DP) statements and coordinate with banks for working-capital limits
• Coordinate with Statutory/Internal/Tax Auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations
• Coordinate with Commercial, Purchase, Stores, Production and Corporate Finance for financial and operational matters
• Ensure strong internal financial controls, SOP compliance and accuracy of plant accounts
• Lead and supervise the plant Finance & Accounts team

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing the end-to-end Finance & Accounts function of the Gwalior Ethanol Plant, including accounting, ERP, taxation, working capital, banking, statutory compliance and monthly financial closure.
