Job summary

CIEL HR is seeking a Senior Finance Controller to oversee all financial, accounting, and statutory compliance operations at the Coimbatore manufacturing plant. You will partner with the Plant Head to drive cost optimization, safeguard assets, and strengthen internal controls while leading GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets management.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in corporate finance or plant accounting, hands-on SAP FICO/MM/PP or Oracle, and strong data analysis using MS Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• CA–Inter or CMA/ICWA with 10–15 years in corporate finance or plant accounting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO/MM/PP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Strong data analysis skills using MS Excel and Power BI.
• Minimum 7–8 years inside a manufacturing plant ecosystem ( Automotive, FMCG, Pharma, Chemicals, Heavy Engineering ).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial, accounting, and statutory compliance operations at the manufacturing plant.
• Act as a strategic financial partner to the Plant Head, driving cost optimization and safeguarding assets.
• Plant Accounting & Financial Control; Financial Reporting; Books Management (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets).
• Maintain Internal Controls and coordinate audits (internal, statutory, tax).
• Costing, Budgeting, Variance Analysis; Product Costing; Budgeting; Variance analysis.
• Cost optimization benchmarking operational costs.
• Statutory Compliance & Taxation (GST, Customs, Excise, TDS, Income tax) and timely tax returns.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams; develop and implement Internal Controls.
• Experience presenting complex financial data to non-finance plant operators.

• CA – Inter or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA / ICWA)
• 10 to 15 years of post-qualification experience in corporate finance or plant accounting.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP (FICO / MM / PP modules) or Oracle
• Exceptional data analysis skills using MS Excel, Power BI
• Minimum 7-8 years inside a manufacturing plant ecosystem (Automotive, FMCG, Pharma, Chemicals, Heavy Engineering).
• Should have ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-finance plant operators
• Should have good experience GL, AP, AR, and fixed asset accounting
• Should have good audit coordination experience – Internal Audits, Statutory Audits, Tax Audits
• Should have good experience developing and implementing Internal Controls
• Should have good experience in costing, budgeting and variance analysis
• Should have hands on experience in Statutory Compliance and taxation – GST, Customs, Excise, TDS, Income Tax
• Should be willing to work out of Coimbatore Location.
