Job summary

ADM Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead delivery across Integration, Digital, SAP, Salesforce, and DevOps initiatives aligning with ADM transformation goals.

You will mentor multiple development teams, manage cross-functional projects, and enforce change control, audit readiness, and quality standards while driving continuous improvement. Occasional weekend support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent with 7+ years IT experience across varied technologies.
• Experience in DevOps, SAP, Digital, and Salesforce integration and automation.
• Proven people management and leadership for 5+ years.
• Experience in .NET and React.
• Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
• Understanding of Git and DevOps repositories.
• Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud development.
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies is preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional implementation activities.
• ITIL and PMP certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of testing practices and tools.
• Understanding of governance and quality controls.
• Excellent knowledge of Development Management, Software Implementation and Project Management processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development across Integration, Digital, Salesforce, RPA, DevOps, and SAP initiatives.
• Guide teams with SDLC expertise using agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Ensure changes follow control procedures, audits, and proper documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and performance feedback through 1:1s.
• Translate business requirements into technical deliverables with Solution & Service Delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, standards, and runbooks.
• Review metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Mitigate risks using RAID logs and escalation to senior management.
• Balance team leadership with hands-on development mentorship.
• Communicate effectively with Senior Leadership across Biz and IT.
• Stay current with industry trends to enhance practices.
• Collaborate across levels to maintain professionalism and drive changes.
• Support production releases including occasional weekends or shifts.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Deliver all development activities related to Integration, Digital, Salesforce, RPA Automations, DevOps, and SAP implementations, upgrades, production support and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business strategy and ADM transformation.


• Deep project management skills to manage various project deliverables and knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including agile and waterfall.


• Ensure all development activities adhere to change control procedures (ex., SOX, ITGC), audit requirements, and are properly documented for operational support and audits.


• Supervise assigned development teams (SAP, Integration, Salesforce, RPA, DevOps), providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback through 1:1 meetings.


• Work closely across Solution Delivery and Service Delivery to understand requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.


• Possess a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to gauge bottlenecks involved, utilising overall knowledge of systems, processes and functionalities


• Partner on process improvements, standards, strategies, runbooks and frameworks to optimise the development management process and increase efficiency


• Maintain and review metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability to understand RAID, ability to mitigate risks and resolve issues quickly by using appropriate channels and know when to escape to senior management.


• Exhibits ability to work both in a team environment and independently performing development manager responsibilities, with little guidance, and the ability to mentor and guide other development team members.


• Demonstrated a high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills in communicating technical information, ideas, procedures, and processes with Senior Leadership across Business and IT.


• Stay up to date with technologies, industry trends, and best practices, applying relevant knowledge to enhance development management practices.


• Interact and deal effectively with all levels of employees while maintaining professionalism; willingness and effectiveness in challenging the status quo.


• Maintains a positive work environment through teamwork and conflict resolution.


• Expected to work occasional weekends, holidays, or a variety of shifts, when needed, to support production releases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT across varied technologies and streams with highly integrated suites or an ecosystem of applications in various IT roles and overall 10+ years of IT experience.


• Knowledge of various technologies, including but not limited to DevOps, SAP, Digital, and SalesForce, integration capabilities and automation.


• Experience in. NET and React.


• People management/ leadership/performance management - mandatory 5+ years.


• Experience in PowerShell or an equivalent scripting language.


• Experience in Docker and container orchestration.


• Understanding of Git and DevOps repositories.


• Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud development.


• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies is preferred.


• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
