Job summary

GyanSys Inc. in India seeks an experienced Sr. Manager / AGM - SAP to lead SAP Support, drive implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems organization-wide.

The candidate will steer cross-functional SAP teams, develop SAP strategy, and ensure SAP processes meet business needs through SAP ERP, S/4HANA, FICO, MM, and SD modules, with a focus on value realization.

Qualifications

• MCA / B.Tech / CA full time.
• SAP Certification in relevant modules (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA, etc.) is preferred.
• Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in SAP implementation, support, and optimization, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP FICO) and integrated business processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP functional modules across Sales Distribution, Finance & Controlling, MM, PM, PP and manage a cross-functional SAP team.
• Develop and execute the SAP strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure SAP processes align with business requirements across departments.
• Oversee design, implementation, and optimization of SAP ERP, S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD and other modules.
• Drive SAP implementation projects, upgrades, and rollouts with defined scope and milestones.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of SAP consultants, developers and business analysts.
• Continuously improve SAP workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Act as liaison between IT and business stakeholders and review SAP performance with senior leaders.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sr. Manager / AGM - SAP to lead the SAP Support and drive the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP, and a mindset to improve business processes and maximize the value of SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the SAP Functional Modules like Sales Distribution, Finance & Controlling, MM , PM, PP including, Month end and Year end closing activities, DCD, vendor portal, bank integrations etc.) and manage a cross-functional team of SAP experts.
• Develop and execute the SAP strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure the alignment of SAP processes with business requirements across different departments.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP modules, including SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, and others

2.Project Management:

• Drive SAP implementation projects, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure the successful completion of SAP-related projects within the specified time, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage risks and issues related to SAP projects and provide proactive solutions.

3.Team Development:

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts.
• Develop training programs to enhance SAP skill sets across the organization.

4.Process Optimization & Support:

• Continuously assess and improve SAP workflows, ensuring maximum system efficiency and business benefit.
• Work closely with business process owners to drive process improvements and best practices.
• Manage the ongoing support and troubleshooting of SAP-related issues, ensuring minimal system downtime and operational disruptions.

5.Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as the key liaison between the IT team and business stakeholders to ensure SAP systems meet business requirements and deliver value.
• Conduct regular business reviews with senior leadership to provide status updates on SAP projects and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

Education:

• MCA / B. TECH / CA full time.
• SAP Certification in relevant modules (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA, etc.) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in SAP implementation, support, and optimization, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Technical Expertise:
