Job summary

Lehry Brothers - India is seeking a Finance Manager in Mumbai to manage financial operations including monthly closes, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of finance experience, particularly in manufacturing or import-export, and must be proficient in SAP Business One.

This role involves leading the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with GST and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in finance & accounts with team leadership exposure.
• Mandatory experience in SAP Business One.
• Strong exposure to banking, GST, audits, MIS, and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and annual financial close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Prepare MIS, variance analysis, and month-end reports for the Managing Director.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger, chart of accounts, and financial reporting.
• Handle cash flow planning and payments.
• Coordinate with banks for CC renewal/enhancement and business loans.
• Monitor GST, TDS, and statutory filings; ensure timely compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for audits.
• Oversee import/export accounting including customs documentation.
• Ensure accurate day-to-day accounting in SAP Business One.
• Lead and train the accounts team; conduct monthly review and training meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and annual financial close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Prepare MIS, variance analysis, and month-end reports for the Managing Director.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger, chart of accounts, and financial reporting.
• Handle cash flow planning, fund availability, EMIs, PDCs, and payments.
• Coordinate with banks for CC renewal/enhancement, business loans, LC/BC, import/export remittances, and documentation.
• Monitor GST, TDS, and statutory filings; ensure timely compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and company secretary for audits, IT and MCA filings.
• Oversee import/export accounting including BOE submission, remittances, export invoices, and customs documentation.
• Ensure accurate day-to-day accounting in SAP Business One and support SAP migration/custom reports.
• Review AP/AR, bank reconciliations, invoice compliance, and outstanding reports.
• Lead and train the accounts team; conduct monthly review and training meetings.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and fraud prevention measures.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in finance & accounts with team leadership exposure.
• Mandatory experience in SAP Business One.
• Strong exposure to banking, GST, audits, MIS, and cash flow management.
• Experience in manufacturing / trading / import-export industry preferred.
