Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and fixed assets
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accurate MIS reports for management decision‑making
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws
• Handle GST returns (GSTR‑1, 3B, 2B reconciliation, annual returns, audits)
• Manage statutory audits, tax audits, cost audits, and internal audits
• Coordinate with statutory authorities and consultants
• Manage accounting related to manufacturing units, batch costing, product‑wise profitability
• Monitor RM, PM, WIP, FG inventory valuation
• Support pricing, tender costing, and margin analysis
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Implement cost optimization and process improvement initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and review work of accounts and finance team
• Coordinate with production, supply chain, QA, HR, and commercial teams
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure effective use of ERP systems (SAP / Tally / MS Dynamics)
• Strengthen internal controls and SOPs
• Support automation and digitalization of finance processes
