Job summary

MosChip in Hyderabad seeks an experienced hardware design engineer to lead high-speed digital/analog and power PCB projects. You will own architecture, schematic capture, analysis, and validation across the development lifecycle.

Role requires 8–10 years in complex board design, server-class platforms, and HTI/HDI expertise. On-site position with collaboration across firmware, software, mechanical and EMI teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in high-speed hardware board design across digital, analog, and power domains.
• Experience with 2U/3U server-class platforms, ATX-based architectures, and HDI PCB designs.
• Proven board design experience using AMD, INTEL SoC, FPGA and MPSoC architectures.
• Strong circuit analysis, design, and validation across digital, analog, and power domains.
• Deep understanding of SI, PI, EMI/EMC for high-speed electronics.
• Heatsink and socket-based design with high pinout and wattage.
• End-to-end development lifecycle from architecture to production readiness.
• Ability to perform schematic capture, DC drop analysis, SI reviews, and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products through complete development lifecycle from architecture to validation.
• Independently perform schematic capture and design analysis.
• Conduct DC drop analysis and signal integrity reviews.
• Coordinate with PCB layout, mechanical, SI, and EMC teams.
• Lead board bring-up, root-cause analysis and triage with firmware and software teams.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in high-speed hardware board design for complex digital, analog and power electronic systems.
• Experience with 2U/3U server-class platforms, ATX-based architectures, and complex HDI PCB designs is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in AMD, INTEL SoC, FPGA and MPSoC architecture-based board design and development.
• Strong expertise in circuit analysis, design, and validation across digital, analog and power domains.
• Deep understanding of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and EMI/EMC considerations for high-speed digital and power electronics applications.
• Deep understanding of the Heatsink and Socket based design with high pinout and wattage.
• Successfully delivered products through the complete development lifecycle, from high-level architecture and schematic design to system validation and production readiness.
• Capable of independently executing schematic capture, design analysis, DC drop analysis, signal integrity review, and cross-functional coordination with PCB layout, mechanical, SI, and EMC teams.
• Hands-on experience in board bring-up, root-cause analysis, issue investigation, debugging, and system-level triage in collaboration with firmware and software engineering teams.
