Job summary

Sunrise Biztech Systems Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad is hiring a Hardware Design Engineer 4 with 9-12 years of experience. You will lead high-speed hardware development for embedded systems, including power and signal integrity considerations.

The role involves creating detailed design documents, schematics, BOMs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive hardware bring-up, validation, and design reviews for client projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with x86 embedded microprocessors from multiple vendors.
• Familiarity with FPGA is a plus.
• Proficient interfacing with I2C, SPI, UART and RS232.
• Experience with high-speed I/Os like PCIe, DDR/LPDDR, MIPI/USB and Ethernet.
• Proficient in Cadence PCB tools for schematics and layout.
• Hands-on lab work with oscilloscopes, DMM, spectrum analyzer and debuggers.
• Fundamental knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed rechartered documents, detailed design specs, schematics and BOM.
• Work with cross-functional teams and participate in design reviews.
• Design schematics for digital, mixed-signal and power electronics.
• Interact with PCB layout teams and finalize placement considering SI/PI constraints.
• Component selection and vendor coordination to meet design needs.
• Experience full HW development lifecycle from concept to bring-up and testing.
• Strong board design fundamentals in mixed-signal, high-speed and power design.

Position: Hardware Design Engineer 4
Experience: 9-12 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Contract tenure: 1 year

Required Skills:

• Experience in working with different x86 embedded microprocessor based on Client, AMD, Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA or similar
• Experience in working on the FPGA is a plus
• Adept in designing interfaces with the Bus communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, RS232
• Experience in working with High Speed I/Os like PCIe, Memory (DDRx, LPDDRx), MIPI C-PHY/D-PHY, USB3.0/USB4.0 and Ethernet interfaces
• Expert in using the EDA tools for schematics and Layout tools, mainly Cadence PCB tools
• Hands-on lab experiences using Oscilloscopes, DMM, spectrum analyzer and Debugger tools
• Fundamental knowledge Signal Integrity and Power Integrity
  

Basic Job Deliverable:

• Responsible for project deliverables like creation of detailed Rechartered document, detailed design specifications, schematics and BOM.
• Work with cross functional teams, understand the design requirements, design the system/ subsystem and participate in the design reviews.
• Design schematics of digital, mix signal & power electronics circuits that satisfy the design requirements.
• Interact with PCB layout teams and finalize the component placement considering the Mechanical and SI/PI constraints
• Component selection process and able to work with vendors in finalizing the components that meets the design requirements.
• Experienced with the complete HW development life-cycle from Design Conception, Execution, Fabrication & Assembly, board Bring-up & Testing.
• Strong Board Design Fundamentals pertaining to Mixed signal design, High Speed board design, and Power Design.
