Job summary

MosChip is seeking Platform/Board Design Engineers with immediate requirement to contribute to high-speed hardware development in complex digital, analog and power electronics systems.

You will work on 2U/3U server-class platforms, ATX-based architectures and HDI PCB designs, delivering from schematic capture to validation and production readiness, collaborating with firmware, software and mechanical teams.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in high-speed hardware board design.
  • Experience with 2U/3U server-class platforms, ATX-based architectures, and complex HDI PCB designs.
  • Proven experience in AMD, INTEL SoC, FPGA and MPSoC architecture-based board design.
  • Strong expertise in circuit analysis, design, and validation across digital, analog and power domains.
  • Deep understanding of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and EMI/EMC considerations for high-speed digital and power electronics applications.
  • Deep understanding of heatsink and socket based design with high pinout and wattage.
  • Experience in delivering products through full development lifecycle from architecture to production readiness.
  • Capable of schematic capture, design analysis, DC drop analysis, SI reviews, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Hands-on board bring-up, root-cause analysis, debugging and system-level triage with firmware/software teams.
  • Strong documentation, validation plans, test procedures, and validation reports.
  • Collaboration with BIOS development, device drivers and QA teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Looking for Platform/Board Design Engineers with the following requirements and this is an immediate requirement.

  • Extensive experience in high-speed hardware board design for complex digital, analog and power electronic systems.
  • Experience with 2U/3U server-class platforms, ATX-based architectures, and complex HDI PCB designs is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in AMD, INTEL SoC, FPGA and MPSoC architecture-based board design and development.
  • Strong expertise in circuit analysis, design, and validation across digital, analog and power domains.
  • Deep understanding of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and EMI/EMC considerations for high-speed digital and power electronics applications.
  • Deep understanding of the Heatsink and Socket based design with high pinout and wattage.
  • Successfully delivered products through the complete development lifecycle, from high-level architecture and schematic design to system validation and production readiness.
  • Capable of independently executing schematic capture, design analysis, DC drop analysis, signal integrity review, and cross-functional coordination with PCB layout, mechanical, SI, and EMC teams.
  • Hands-on experience in board bring-up, root-cause analysis, issue investigation, debugging, and system-level triage in collaboration with firmware and software engineering teams.
  • Skilled in preparing hardware design documentation, validation plans, test procedures, equipment identification, test execution, debugging, and comprehensive validation reports.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams, including post-silicon validation, BIOS development, device driver development, and QA teams.
  • Proficient in industry-standard EDA tools, including Cadence Allegro and Altium Designer.
  • Familiarity with Python and Perl scripting for automation, test development, and engineering productivity improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical reviews, resolve complex hardware issues, and deliver high-quality products within project schedules.
