Job summary

Birlasoft ( India ) Limited is seeking an experienced SAP MM Lead with 12+ years of hands-on SAP MM experience. The role covers procurement, inventory management, vendor management, invoice verification, and integration with SD/PP/WM-EWM/FI.

You will drive end-to-end SAP MM implementations, support migrations to S/4HANA, and mentor junior consultants, while ensuring quality and SLA adherence across global projects.

• 12+ years of SAP MM experience with hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.
• Gather business requirements and translate into SAP MM specs.
• Configure and customize SAP MM processes: procurement, PR/PO, inventory, vendor evaluation, release strategies, invoice verification, service procurement, subcontracting, STOs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve procurement and supply chain processes.
• Integrate SAP MM with SAP SD, PP, WM/EWM, QM, and FI modules.
• Support SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation initiatives.
• Prepare functional specs for custom developments and coordinate with technical teams.
• Conduct system testing, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Provide production support and resolve critical issues within SLA timings.
• Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer.
• Create process docs, user manuals, and training materials.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, vendor management, invoice verification, and integration with SAP SD, PP, WM/EWM, and FI modules. The candidate will be responsible for end‑to‑end SAP MM solution design, implementation, support, enhancement, and business process optimization.
