SAP MM Senior Consultant

About: Key responsibilities include managing the MM workstream, configuring S/4HANA MM processes (like purchasing, inventory, and goods receipts), and ensuring integration with other modules (SD, FI, PP, QM). The role also involves using SAP Fiori apps, understanding S/4HANA‑specific changes, and potentially a familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and agile project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA.
• Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA modules to align with business processes and client standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration between modules and third‑party systems.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide end‑user training and create functional documentation and SOPs.
• On‑demand support to Global Business Process and Operational Divisions Teams, as well as partners in charge of data‑center administration.
• Accountable for solution issues escalated to the Global Support team; ensure tickets are properly responded to, fixed, tested, and followed up until closure.
• Analyze release content in your area and recommend optimal testing organization.
• Liaise with regional/local support teams and testing factory to ensure proper release validation.
• Analyze, challenge, and validate recommendations and actions in your area.
• Liaise with Global Data Excellence and Business Process Leaders to solve problems and drive enhancements.
• Contribute to, review, and validate core bugs and enhancement specifications; assist with testing and validation.
• Apply SAP functional knowledge to supply chain and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of SAP consulting experience in complex, multi‑project environments (core template design/build/validation, roll‑out, and support).
• Extensive experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) and procurement or inventory domains.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and the MM/WM modules, including customization and environment management.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile methodology.
• Strong functional knowledge of procurement processes, SAP customising, transport orders, and project life cycle stages (run, deployment, testing).
• Operational business experience and at least 3 years of similar roles in an international context.
• Domain experience in procurement is an added advantage.
• Excellent English proficiency (both verbal and written).
