Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is hiring a senior Java backend developer in Chennai to design and build scalable microservices architectures. You will work with Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP, mentoring teams and delivering high-performance backend systems.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in a healthcare-oriented domain.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and enterprise Java technologies (Spring, Hibernate, JPA).
• Experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, automated testing, and IaC.

Responsibilities
