Job summary

GlobalLogic, Bengaluru, India, is seeking a senior software engineer with 6-8 years of experience to build scalable Java-based applications, including microservices using Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and RESTful services. You will collaborate with product and technical managers to define architecture strategies and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.

Experience with Azure services, Redis, and Elasticsearch is a plus, and you will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment,

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of software development experience.
• Strong Core Java and design principles.
• Very strong J2EE with Spring, JPA and Hibernate.
• Very strong Spring Boot with RESTful Web services and Microservices.
• Working experience on RDBMS / MySQL.
• Proficient in documenting processes and code using Postman, Swagger.
• Proficient with Azure services.
• Basic understanding of Redis and Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Managers (Technical and Product) to define and plan projects and activities.
• Develop and implement an architecture strategy.
• Facilitate team collaboration towards software engineering best practices, and solutions that meet customer needs.
• Ensure high quality code through code reviews and defect prevention activities.
• Collaborate in small teams to deliver well-integrated products in short design cycles with good documentation and reusable artifacts.
• Adhere to core Java design principles and robustness of Spring/JPA/Hibernate implementations.
• Deliver Spring Boot RESTful services and Microservices with scalable architecture.
• Engage with RDBMS / MySQL databases and related tooling.
