Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a senior Java developer with expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices to drive architecture and delivery for complex digital products in India.

You will partner with technical and product managers, contribute to architecture strategy, and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices. Remote-friendly options and a collaborative, growth-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years of software development experience.
• Should be strong in Core Java and Design Principles.
• Should be very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA and Hibernate.
• Should be very strong in Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices.
• Should have working experience on RDBMS / MySQL databases.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Minimum 6-8 years of software development experience

• Work closely with Managers (Technical and Product) to define and plan projects and activities
• Develop and implement an architecture strategy
• Facilitate team collaboration towards software engineering best practices, and solutions that meet customer needs
• Ensuring high quality code is produced and maintained through code review and frequent defect prevention activity
• Work closely in small teams to create well integrated products in short design cycles with good documentation and reusable artifacts
• Agile/ Scrum/Kanban experience
• Should be strong in Core JAVA and Design Principles
• Should be very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA and Hibernate
• Should be very strong in Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices
• Should have working experience on RDBMS / MySQL databases

Job responsibilities

• Should be proficient in documenting the process and code using standard tools like POSTMAN, Swagger etc.,
• Should be proficient with Azure services
• Basic understanding of Caching (Redis) and Search/Index Platform (Elastic Search)
