Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced Java backend engineer to develop and maintain scalable microservices-based systems. You will contribute to cloud-native backend architectures, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and enterprise Java technologies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will design and implement secure, high-performance services, work with Docker and Kubernetes, and participate in DevOps practices including CI/CD and IaC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and enterprise Java technologies (Spring, Hibernate, JPA).
• Experience designing scalable, secure, high-performance backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems with robust APIs.
• Implement and operate Dockerized microservices in CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and DevOps practices including IaC.
• Mentor developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features.
