Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, invites seasoned Java engineers in Chennai to join our backend team. You will develop scalable, secure microservices using Java, Spring Boot and modern enterprise tech, with cloud deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP.

Role requires 7+ years hands-on Java, strong knowledge of Spring, Hibernate/JPA, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices including CI/CD and IaC. You may mentor peers and work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and enterprise Java technologies (Spring, Hibernate, JPA).
• Experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience mentoring developers and working with cross-functional teams.
• Healthcare or patient safety domain experience is an added advantage.
