Job summary

Primeone Workforce is seeking a GIS specialist to handle data collection, management, and map production. You will gather geographic data from field surveys, GPS, and satellite imagery, and organize it into structured databases.

Responsibilities include map creation with ArcGIS/QGIS, spatial analysis for urban planning and environmental monitoring, database maintenance, and scripting to automate tasks. Collaboration with project teams and stakeholders is expected.

• Create and edit maps, layouts, and visualizations using GIS software like ArcGIS or QGIS.

• Maintain and clean spatial and attribute tables to ensure data accuracy.
• Provide technical support by troubleshooting GIS applications and sharing layers.
• Automate tasks with scripts (Python or SQL) to streamline geoprocessing tasks.

• Map Creation and Cartography: Design, edit, and produce accurate digital and print maps, layouts, and visual representations using GIS software like ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Spatial Analysis: Analyze spatial patterns, trends, and relationships to provide actionable insights for urban planning, environmental monitoring, or business operations.
• Database Maintenance: Maintain, update, and clean spatial and attribute tables to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and standardization.
• Technical Support and Collaboration: Assist project teams and external stakeholders by troubleshooting GIS applications, sharing layers, and translating complex spatial data into clear reports or presentations.
